Blind Tiger, Drunken Dragon

My friend Roz asked me to promote this for her so here it goes:

We’d like to invite you to Blind Tiger – a new night at AKA, vamping up Friday nights. Blind Tiger is inspired by 1920s Speakeasies. The underground, decadent nature of these parties gave the ‘Roaring Twenties’ its nickname. AKA’s Fridays are a nod back to those heady times – with secret passwords; a clandestine entrance to the venue; popular cocktails of the day; occasional burlesque showcases, and the venue brought alive with 1920s visuals and décor.

Our DJ for the night, Aldo Vanucci, plays everyone’s favourite records. A genre-spanning genius, he plays a mix of the coolest soul, classic hip hop, disco and indie - records that make you smile or have you heading for the dancefloor. Labelled an ‘obsessive vinyl junkie’ by Fatboy Slim, he's the perfect person to head up our Speakeasy soundsystem.

Pizza Express pizzas are available for an after-work meal or a late evening snack.Reserve tables in advance / book a private area on our Mezzanine level: blindtiger@akalondon.com
Every Friday - launching 29th September ‘066pm - 4am Free before 2300 - £7 after.

We’re inviting along a few people who work near us and who we think are like-minded, and hope you'd like to come down. If you give your name on the door, they'll be expecting you.

Please feel free to bring a guest, and do take advantage of this invitation on any Friday from the 29th September onwards. If anyone else from your company would like to come down, please ask them to email us on the above address.
