The number of WiFi Hotspots is now greater than 55,000, according to a report by JiWire.com, a WiFi directory service. The service said London (1,177) is the city with the most places where people can connect to a public wireless network, free or paid, followed by Tokyo (854) and New York (822). The number of Hotspots will double this year, said Kevin McKenzie, CDEO of JiWire. "Hotels and other locations that naturally cater to the business traveler will be large contributors to this rapid growth," he said in a statement.
