The Potter Phenomena

For the past few years publishers have sought to replicate the success of the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. The New York Times has a look at the latest author to be thrust into the mould Susanna Clark and her book Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, by the sound of the plot it owes more than a little to gaelic fairy tales and Baron Munchausen.
